• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Question on HFs

Although I have downloaded it, I haven’t yet had the energy to install the first hot fix, as I have ton of add-ons, etc.

Here is a question: If I wait until HF2 is out, it seems as if LM would include all previous HFs in whatever their latest overall download is. Then I couldn’t I just re-download whatever the latest v5 download is, and do a clean install?

Thoughts?

Just wait and download the HF2 Client. If the change log is appealing worry about Content and Scenery. I always upgrade Client, occasionally Content (PBR) and almost never Scenery.

Yes, each release includes all previous fixes.
 
IF you have HF1 you will only need to install the client. Leave everything else. Here's hoping lighting, shaders and other bugs are fixed now.:engel016:

Although I am relative free of problems with P3D V5, it will be nice to get the update. Now if MS would just update my computer to 2004. Every computer in the house has been updated by the auto update...except... for the flight sim computer. :banghead:
