My wife decided she just 'had to check out something on facebook'...when she finally finished I noticed the dreaded milky screen...program completely locked up. I ended up having to re-boot the computer to put things right again. Then it was off to take care of "honey do's" for the rest of the day. Between my wife being unable to drive and her mother moving in with us (she cannot drive either due to macular degeneration), I ended up at two different shopping malls and a grocery store. When that was finally done 6 hours later I was wiped out...Sometimes I'm glad to go to work so that I have some time to myself.
 
Off we go into the wild blue yonder...It's been a crazy week here in the real world. We're in the process of adding a mother-in-law suite to our house, so there is a lot of construction activity going on. Carpenters and electricians have been having fun putting everything together. Then my birthday present arrived...a brand new EVGA GTX 660 3 mb video card. Opened up the 'puter and plugged that puppy in, then went through the rigamarole of uninstalling old drivers, installing new drivers, and then teaching FSX how to play nice with the new hardware. Things are finally humming along...so here I go!

Down safe and sound at RAF Mildenhall...except for a minor navigational error. I had planned out my route using the draft rules, which for the Modern Era originally ended at EGLC...so the dog leg at the end was where I discovered my error and made a bee line for Mildenhall. Oh well..
