One of the several projects I am fiddling with for some time now is a new sorted library containing all objects.
For this, I also checked the old CFS1 objects and dusted them off and enhanced them here and there for a use even ten years after CFS2 came out!
The objects are simple but still do their job. Like Sander has done for the London Landmarks, I have extracted the ones from Paris and turned them into own objects.
Now I have tinkered at them, that they appear much earlier and move through their LODs, just as I think, an object should to look to convince. This way, you can use them for orientation or panorama views. Out of the box, that wasn`t possible because the objects suddenly popped up in front of you only.
I made me a mission and placed the landmarks after Google Earth coordinates.
Plan is, to turn this mission into a GSL-Layer later.
But to finish this project finally I need some help.
But first some pics:
1) Heading west along the Seine right to Notre Dame
2) Le Louvre avec le Avenue des Champs-Élysées
3) Les Champs avec le Place de la Concorde et l' Arc de Triomphe
4) Looking back to the east
BTW: The plane is the Caudron by Bruno, the bridges are from a FS2000(?) pack, the Seine comes with Sanders landclass.
