Party like its 1968 with Booker T

Blues is Life
Lets go to a party in 1968 Paris and hang out with Booker T and the MGs. Bring back any memories eh? Well I wasn't around then but those who were can fill us in on what it was like:icon29:

Great to see color footage of Booker, a young Duck Dunn and Steve Cropper before their Blues Brothers years, the human metronome himself Al Jackson Jr when he was still alive

No doubt about it,.....I think their best instrumental is "Time is Tight" Period!

BurningBeard,..."those hot women" I'm sure fill a more matronly figure today......
:icon_lol:

It is almost summertime....
I know just about every artist did a rendition of Summertime but give Booker's version a listen...perfect song to relax to...Steve Cropper's guitar work is just beautiful, as well as Booker is just pure soul on the Hammond. One of my favorite versions of this song.

Pilottj,
Wow this brings back a flood of memories....:icon_lol:
Was I really like that so many years ago?

Yes and I had a Fu-Man-Chu plus long hair......

I have played that ten times now

Thanks

Hippy Rick!
