It's another marvelous little detail. It's the site for a new building. The four wooden "L" shapes show the operator of the backhoe the corners of the intended excavation for the basement or substructure and the portable toilets are for the construction workers and the dumpster is for construction trash. been to places like that my whole career

Thanks, that solves it. I'm used to stakes with a ribbon rather than boards. Perhaps we'll get another update when the building is finished.
