Paul Domingue - WRT Noorduyn Norseman

Mayor Emeritus of Taco City
just had a thought about this and decided to inquire....any news on the project from any quarter would be welcome - even if it is to say theres nothing to show - or it was dropped - or the dog ate it

I'd be really interested in a Norseman as well. There's a very, very nicely restored one in the museum here in Edmonton.

The duck and this have taken precedent.

Right now I'm trying to create some decent pilot figures bones and all. This has been hard for me because I'm not very good with organics but it's getting there. I have been grabbing head shots of Peter O'Toole from the internet for the Mount Kyle model's pilot and it's been rather comical so far.

Great choice of textures on the Noorduyn Paul, they look very familiar..!

The Aero 145 is an interesting choice too, looking forward to flying it!

No worries, Paul - as I say, it was just a friendly how's it goin' - I was curious is all.

looks like you got her started and that's ...erm...a start isn't it... do what you gotta do man.

Paul, if / when you get back to the Norseman, let me know if you need images / details. I have pretty good access to this one:

http://www.albertaaviationmuseum.com/Aircraft/Noorduyn_Norseman_(1943)#!norseman2

I've been allowed to climb into a few of their aircraft on request. They're pretty sensitive about their Norseman, but still, would also be enthusiastic about being able to provide help and details. High res detailed photos would not be an issue.
