PC-7 V2.0 Released.

I found out that I still had an almost finish repaint for the old PC-7 laying around. Fortunately it's high res at 2048x2048, so suitable for the new PC-7. It's the current Swiss AF c/s, I need to tweak a few things but I'll upload it soon.

Cool, i just was about to ask if someone could do a PC-7 Team of Swiss Air Force.

Cheers

Okay, here's a question for those of you who've put some stick time in with the PC-7: how do you slow it down? It's one of the slipperiest planes I've ever flown in FS. Even with the throttle at idle, it seems to want to happily cruise along at 200KIAS, making it pretty tough to get it slow enough to extend flaps. I'd had to resort to pitching up fairly radically to bring it into the white arc so I could lower flaps on approach. Once the flaps are down, it's quite manageable. But getting it to those speeds is a challenge.

Anyone know what the secret is?

Thanks for the video. I was hoping that there was some way besides side-slipping and forward-slipping to carve off the airspeed, but maybe that's the way.

Nice Vid! I was never an expert with airfiles. I put in the numbers and hope for the best. The "real" airfile experts can spend as much time on an airfile as I do on the entire plane project. Gotta love 'em!

While on the topic of airfiles, I tried to do an inverted dive with around 250 KIAS, and the aircraft stalled and went into a spin. Strange ...

The Swiss Air Force paint is done, just uploaded it to the library here

While I was at it I also redo the RNLAF PC-7 paint I had done earlier. So that one is also available at high-res now. In the library here
