PD Spitfire mk1 template

Pat Pattle

SOH-CM-2026
Does anyone have a template for the Patrick Didier mk1 Spitfire that I could use pretty please?
:) It's for a new static model.

If you can think of a way of getting it to you! It's about 75 - 80,000 KB... Depending on which style you want.

Thanks Nigel, I only need it to be low res for the static model, 1024 or even 512 sq if it would make it email-able
....or failing that simply a 'flat' version without the codes or serial numbers is what I really need.

I tried modding the standard texture but those greens and browns are yukky. :)

Are you going to be making different versions for different stations, is that it?

I can't reduce the size without flattening it - my computer would lock up! So it's going to have to be a single sheet job, and you do your own codes. A and B schemes as well?

My greens and browns are just right...

Yes Nigel, I intend to place correct squadrons at the major BoB airfields, probably as they were on the starting date of 10th July or maybe on Sept 15th.

A single sheet texture would be perfect, all I want to do is add the codes and serials. If you have the A & B schemes that would be wonderful!:jump: (but more research work! ;) )

I made a quick and dirty set based on the PD original but they look wrong..AND I found out afterwards that 610 sqdn didn't have reverse codes on the starboard side so these are all wrong anyway! :(

Nice! I like the way they've all got different codes... But won't that mean twenty different static models? It's already so heavy that I've had to prune the ACC airfields very severely to remove most of the static aircraft and most of the trees - otherwise I simply can't fly over them!

Are you going to disperse them a bit more widely?

Anyway, I'll get on with the skins...
