Percival Sea Prince

SOH-CM-2026
Rob Richardson is currently working on this beauty for P3D_v4+. This livery is a WIP. . ."what if". Anyone familiar with Long Marston Airfield might recognize this airplane and the markings. . .I did not and assumed this was an old civilian version put out to pasture. Before I discovered it's true identity I had already done all the graphics and decided to go with it anyway.

Needless to say, the Sea Prince will have plenty of liveries available that were actually flown so no shortage of work for the true artists among you. You can check out another livery Rob has already completed on his web site here

Sorry about the VC shot I somehow messed up some of the interior textures.

I'd like to see it kitted out with bench + radar consoles in the cabin, as per 750 NAS...

Not like you to complain Andy.

VC looks like this.

It's looking great. Hanger space is open and waiting. :encouragement:

Edit: I see by your link that's it's actually released. I'll be flying it tonight when I get home from work.

Like to see a photo of this Ed. Long Marston's not far from me. Currently being turned into a housing estate. All the old buildings, runways and taxi tracks will be lost. Don't know what will happen to the Sea Prince if it's not already been destroyed.

Here it is:

Thanks Ed. Never knew it was there! Found it on Google maps and may take a 45 min trip out for some photos before it's lost - if indeed it isn't already.

Dave I watched a video yesterday (YouTube) of a guy going through that very airplane. While it was interesting to actually watch video of him walking around and inside the airplane, it had been pretty thoroughly trashed. He did say it was right out front and shot back towards the main highway that goes by there. He said you can see it from the road.
