It is that time a year when my buddy and I hit the road and do whatever and this year we headed down the Oregon coast Highway 101 into the Redwoods in Northern California. We had a great time hiking, biking, kayaking and just being silly. Even surprised a black bear. I attached a few vids from the trip. Hope you enjoy for I sure did. You will also see some wide angle video from a cool new camera I picked up called the GoPro hd. Good to be back home with the family but had a great time on the road.

A few more shots of the trip.....the redwoods were a treat and they were HHHHHUUUGE!! Our last night night on the road their was a lonely shower out over the ocean, just sat in my chair with a cup of coffee and enjoyed the view. Looked like a big jelly fish out there above the ocean. The VW was our home for the week. Last shot in fern canyon in the redwoods, a very nice hike.

Dueling banjos turned out to be a kick. I was watching my buddy create this drawing on paper in matter of a few min. His face was at peace as he drew. So I thought, hmmm....looks easy enough......and began my drawing :icon_lol:. Glad you enjoyed.

Thanks thumper, beautiful scenery indeed all around us. I love our trips we do every year on the road....pick a direction that is somewhere in the west and go. So much to see and do and so little time but we are making a stab at it. The music is from the CD "lifescapes Island Dreams and the song is Manoa Valley.
