PH-TEX for the A2A Cessna

My painting skills are limited to walls, fences and decking Cees, so I can't help.
Must admit I'm surprised that none of our talented re-painters has taken up your request!
IMHO it looks quite a straight forward piece of work.

Cees, first of all, happy liberation day! I happen to be on Amsterdam right now and I see lots of 172s buzzing around. This made me want to take this one up if no one else will. I can start with it next week when I'm back home. I have made a few Greek repaints for this bird and I have the paint kit. Let me know.

That'd be great Dimus! Texel is the home of this one. I fly a lot in Holland in the sim these days. There are plenty pictures on the web of this particular plane.

Thank you!

Cees

Just had a Texel's beer by the Prinsengracht. I guess that fixes it. :D I'll check the pics on line and start on it next week.

Don't know how many flying clubs there are around Amsterdam but they sure logged a lot of hours this brilliant day.

Here it is Cees in and around Texel in NL2000! Check your PMs.

I will make a pack and upload in the library tomorrow. By kind permission of Gunnar (Skyhawk18) I used a combination of his internal repaints to match the cream panel and beige seats. The real one is a Reims built older 'M' version, much like the ones I fly over here. There are several model differences like the landing lights, door latches and the whole interior, but it's a good compromise.

No problem Cees, it was fun and a good way to extend the great time we had in your country last week.

The file is now uploaded in the library here at SOH and at Avsim (soon).

Remember to remove the wheel spats when flying this one.
