• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Yeah getting everything started up on mine took me a while too, but after a while you'll get the hang of it. I just love the fact that you can use the radar to track AI and launch you missiles at them. The HUD mounted night vision is a nice touch too.

Nice screens. Theres some pretty good repaints of it out there too, over at the VRS forums and theres a few here

where can i download the patch it keeps timing out and there reg form on the site the anti bot thing is mess up i fill it out and it still says not correct stupid thing :kilroy:

You can get a direct link to download the SP1 patch in the VRS forums, if I remember correctly.

Just an information: once the patch is applied, you won't be able to select a cold-and-dark start until your Hornet gets a certain amount of flight time. It's not much though, some minutes or something like that. Then the option becomes available again. I suppose they did that to "drive" beginners or something like that...

You'll need to be registered on the VRS forums.

It is a fun bird, I just finally took the time to learn the autopilot system in it. Landings are a helluva lot easier now :jump: I was flying around at night with the night vision hud on landing at small unlighted runways...good fun:mixedsmi: With a well executed approach you can get into 2000' runways. Getting out is no problem...hopefully break a few noise abatement rules as well.:icon_lol:
