SOH-CM-2025
James asked for a Piedmont 727, and that looked simple I thought:

but it's always the details that need sorting..

but I'll get there..

With your playing with the 72 , Don flying on them quite a lot and course you Jan spending so much time in Australia , very surprised you have not done a TAA paint from the period , these did fly into Christchurch in the late 70s early 80s .

Fantastic paint :applause: , I do no James is going to be buzzing , all your works are brilliant !

just out of curiosity, what font did you use for the Piedmont logo?
Strange you say that , many books and articles show the titles , scan and place :salute: least sure that,s similar to what Jan would do .

James, I just lifted the logo off the internet and used that.

I did spot a few mistakes, but these have been corrected as well, so here's (probably) the final version:

I've always felt the 727 looks fast, even standing on the ground...

Ian, but I did do a TAA paint:

OK, not the standard version, and it's not perfect, I know..

I also did Ansett:

and Polynesian:

and if that is not enough for flying in your neck of the woods, there's always this one:

I like the landing lights of the 727. With the diagonally arranged lamps under one plexiglass screen they look quite stylish.

P.S: Care to do those paints again once Tom Ruth's 727 is out, Jan? :icon_lol:

Sorry Jan was meaning to say , the Blue and Red TAA livery , flights starting from Hobart to Christchurch in Dec 1980
