Pierino Primavesi Ju 52

SOH-CM-2025
Trying to find this aircraft, There was a dedicated site for a long time, www.ju52-3m.ch, where you could look over and download the model you wanted, but it now links to a more general site about the 52, with no link to the FS model. There's an earlier complete model on Avsim but has a rather strange texture, model arrangement that make it difficult to add repaints. Ive always preferd this model than the O Fischer version as there's more WW2 military repaints, although the OF version has a nicer VC.
Any ideas chaps

A quick (Google) search found this:

It's the JU52V60 you'll be wanting?
The is also the JU52 from Vladimir Zhyhu;skiy out there as well!

In addition to the freeware Tante Ju by Pierino, Oliver, and Vladimir, there is also a payware one by Data Becker for FS2004/X:

While the VC by Oliver Fischer is the best, and the others are likewise, relatively nice, the one by Data Becker, in spite of not having the best modeled VC, has numerous systems simulations programmed into the model, so one is able to better fly the Tante Ju by the book...albeit, one has to have knowledge of German, to correctly interpret and follow along the instructions in the manual to fly the a/c...

cheers!

Thanks Wolfebee, thats the version i was after, the V6 on his site is more complete with extra model's than the V6 on Avsim.
Still got to figure how to add repaints :mixed-smiley-010:

Have there been any reviews of the Data Becker Ju-52?
It does look interesting, but I cannot find any info on it. I see that it comes with both FS9 & FSX installs.
I'd like to give it a try, as I have all the other Ju-52's.

Thanks, Appreciated, & with Edge translate, it looks very interesting, and it can be installed into FSX. So maybe I can also try it with P3D.

From the antenna to the wing light, every detail of the 3D model has been lovingly visualized and animated. The classic-style cockpit with its panel elements also appears in perfect fidelity to the original. The model, which is recreated on the basis of detailed construction plans, is hardly distinguishable from the real Ju with the animated parts. The on-board systems have been developed so authentically that, for example, there is a risk of failure of an engine in the event of oil leakage. In the cockpit, hobby pilots, amateur pilots, as well as professionals can try out the 162 instruments to their heart's content and guide Aunt Ju through the air.

Key features:

• Detailed 3D model with animated parts such as rolling tires, moving ailerons, horizontal stabilizer, elevator, rudder and tail wheel.
• Unique 'Quick Cockpit Overview Panel Switching' (Quick COPS) in the 2D cockpit: Graphical cockpit overview that allows the user to orient himself in the cockpit and switch the individual instrument panels on or off.
• Specially designed complete electrical system with over 18 power distributors in technically correct operation!
• 106 "self-programmed" instruments, whose functions can be switched by 162 fuses; Complete warning system with accurate warning lights and a Master Caution Panel (MCP) including an exactly-functioning MCP system test function.
• Precisely functioning hydraulic system according to the original and genuine Ju 52 machine.
• Special night design of the instrument panels and instruments, which can be switched on or off by a switch as soon as an appropriate power supply is guaranteed in the aircraft. In this case, the battery bus 1 and 2.
• Reprogrammed fuel system that allows the individual tanks to be selected for left, right or both tanks at the same time. The fuel gauges correspond to the prototype and reflect stock gauges according to the inclination of the aircraft. The electric and motor-driven pumps have also been integrated.
• Engine oil system: The displays of the oil gauges on the outside show a realistic oil consumption of the prototype. If the oil supply is lost, the corresponding engine fails!

Ian,

The wayback machine has a working link: https://web.archive.org/web/20220507090846/http://www.ju52-3m.ch/models.htm

The original filel at this site is 22 Mb, while the version at the other sites is just under 10 Mb.

(If you the link doesn't work for you, I have a copy of the file in my archive).

If it makes you happy, I can also upload this repaint, I've done for Oliver Fischer's Ju52. Its is a Ju52 which was active in the Mediterranean area to support the Afrika Korps. It belonged to I./KG cbV 172 and flew from Tripoli in 1942

It is of course the basic civil model by Oliver Fischer and doesn't have the military cargo door and gunner on top. But the FS2004 model by Pierino Primavesi doesn't have these features as well.

The repaint for Oliver Fischer's Ju52 has been uploaded. I was able to download it, so I guess I did it correctly..... ;)

Enjoy,
Huub

Thanks for the nice words and hopefully you will enjoy it.

TARPSbird informed me that he had some problems with the entry for the aircraft configuration file. His version of Oliver Fischer Ju52 didn't have a model.3 folder. I don't know where my model.3 folder comes from, but if you don't have this folder please change the model number into "1" as this should be the "pantless" version.

He also noticed I hadn't changed the atc is code. So please entry for this code into 4v EU.

I will update the file in the library later today.

Cheers,
Huub

Edit: Done!

Curiously in Primavesi's Ju52_v60 the textures are generated by the model files. Never seen that before. But no problem to add other textures.
