Anyone know how to enable the auto pilot? I've tried enabling the existing one and several from other turbo props but to no avail. Attitude, direction and turn indicators are all enabled in the cfg.
To my best knowledge the model provided by Piglet lacks an autolipot.
I personally edited the autopilot section with:
[autopilot]
autopilot_available=1
flight_director_available=1
autothrottle_available=0
autothrottle_arming_required=0
default_pitch_mode=0
default_bank_mode=0

default_vertical_speed=700
autothrottle_takeoff_ga=1
autothrottle_max_rpm=90

max_pitch=10
max_pitch_acceleration=1
max_pitch_velocity_lo_alt=2
max_pitch_velocity_hi_alt=1.5
max_pitch_velocity_lo_alt_breakpoint=20000
max_pitch_velocity_hi_alt_breakpoint=28000
max_bank=25
max_bank_acceleration=1.8
max_bank_velocity=3
max_throttle_rate=0.1
nav_proportional_control=9
nav_integrator_control=0.25
nav_derivative_control=0
nav_integrator_boundary=2.5
nav_derivative_boundary=0
gs_proportional_control=9.52
gs_integrator_control=0.26

The stuff in blue is mendatory in order to have autopilot available.
Default pitch and bank is up to you, it determines the turn-rate when autopilot is slaved to a GPS.
I always add autopilot as an option, and later determine i will use it or not.
Hope this will work for you, it works excellent for me (have to admit, i have the Saitek AP console).
Do you have a good autopilot radio/pup-up set in your panel? (i mean, other than the one visible in the VC?)
Edit: By default i use an old one (FS9) from a P-38. Copied the entry from the panel.cfg into the aircraft of desire. Als copied the associated images and drop them in the same panel folder. Just give the new "radio" a new (low number) window space, and it will come up with the proper instrument window button.
I'll upload an example form my other computer if neccesary.
Best regards, Warrant
