Piper Pacer Super Pack, releasing!

"Yeah, you really got me now,..You got me so...":ernae:

Bill, this sure feels a lot like early christmas! Though I am actually almost out off the sim-hobby due to a serious lack of time I do think I know exactly what I am gonna do this weekend:jump:

So many fond memories of Mr Lyon´s version in FS9 and yours looks sooo darn great on these screenies. Great piece of modelling and texturework on this cool bird!

Thanks!
Alex

Bill, this is your best work yet, no question about it. Of course I almost rolled it into a ball on my first landing. Almost... Beautiful VC.

Awesome Package --as usual. Just hauled her out over Yellowstone. What a delight to fly:applause:

Here is my first pass at adding Shockwave lighting. Not really happy with the setup yet, so expect a few more iterations.

BTW, the same cfg works for all versions.

Wow Bill - you guys have excelled with this product - well done all concerned. Your best Yet!!

Cool package Bill, glad I got it.

Yep difficult to land. Love the look over the cowling view. Vere handy in that respect.
Why is it, when I tune the ADF, I need to push a button to have the needle point the way?
Or am I doing someting wrong?
I'd love to fly around your enhanced sceneries.

Cheers, Rob

Hello Bill and Folks,

very nice little plane, first flight near PANC, thanks for the sceneries.
Bill, one thing, any chance to have the magneto and start key movable like the default 172, maule etc...
Congrats for this lovely plane.

ok, have to try and btw, where is the battery switch located ?
Thanks.
:icon29:

There is 'no' battery switch and 'no' avionics switch. :S Sounds crazy, I know. Just an ignition switch and light switches. The modernized Bush model has the avionics and batt switches, but the old birds did not.

The classics also had the starter button under the seat instead of on the key switch, but that was just too much.

Paint kit is up!

Download here

I included two versions; normal with normal shading, etc, and a Bush version with bugs and mud, dirt, paint chippies, etc, etc. You can deactivate layers of shadings and each dirt type layer, so you can tune it to your what ever you require on your paint schemes.

Hello Bill,

I have purchased from simmarket your wonderful Piper Pacer. This plane remember me the one I have seem when I was young on a regional airport. I have just to find some rucun oil to have the comple feeling of that time LOL.

I have passeed throught alll the views in the VC. I see the key onder the dash but I am unable to turn it with my mouse. Have you an idea how to make the key functionning with my mouse? Thank you for your help and thank you very much for this wonderful package.

Have a good day

Benoit

I have the same problem. I can't get the magneto key switch to work with my mouse. I was flying the classic tail dragger 180 with that problem. Now I'm off to fly the Tri-Pacer.

BTW, I really love the "transparency" and wheel pants adjustments. Thanks. Off to fly some more.

Fantastic!

The more i fly this the more i compare it to Flight replica's brilliant Super Cub package in terms of variety and the fantastic feel created for the aircraft - Its superb and will be, im sure, a long term favourite.

Hello Benoit,

I have the same planes as you, and all of the keys work in all 3 models of panels. (Each panel has its own instruments and switches and gauge glass, etc). They all work fine. I just tried the Classic with the control yoke visible, and it still turned. Mind you, the key needs to be clicked 3 times in a row to start the engine. It doesnt start right up, but needs 2 to 3 cranks, but the key turns in the switch.

There is one thing that 'might' cause this, and that is being in TrackIR, and being way back in the seat, and with the control yoke perfectly blocking you from it. If you were really low, your visibility would be through the seat (backwards polygons blocking you) thus causing a 'no click' issue, but the seats are really low and far back, so to get WAY BACK and that far down would be pretty extreme, I do not see you doing that.

Very odd.... I wonder what in the world it might be? None of the team have this issue.

Nice pics guys! Glad you are enjoying the Pacers.
