Ahh, thanks.

For me, there is nothing more frustrating than curves wrapped up and around the radius of a fuselage. Just getting everything lined up so-to continue from a breaking point can.. at times be a chore. I'm gaining headway. Just got the top two cowl strips finished. I had to go for flight to take a break.

....Tell you what, my reason for doing foreign reg's are due to them being very different, vibrant and really stand out among the most. If you'd like, I will consider doing any repaints..but they have to be unique to get my attention. If there are any in particular that you feel fit the bill, shoot me a PM with some reg #s and I'll have a peek. Who knows ;)

PutPut, this one I will be happy to do!! I would appreciate some help tracking good photos. I found one, HUGE, although black-n-white picture. It will work but I'll need to know the true colors.

I notice that the reg# is N22E. I have a few pictures of the first Pitts. Hanging wing-top down that's in a museum. Can't see much though..

Slow but sure, I'm gaining. And learning the paint templates better. Getting the nose stripes to look right has been a challenge in my patience. One more slight adjustment on the back-bottom stripe and I can move forward and start the wheel pants. That is, if I don't crack the whiskey bottle first!!

Why thank you WarHorse. I'm just beginning to really enjoy the paint templates.

I've got a few surprises."The Little Stinker" is getting special attention. Lots of enhancements. I think everyone will truly enjoy. She's looking real proper for her age. :)

My guess is you were having issues getting the top wing laid out right. what you think is right, is wrong. .lol.
.....I've been playing around with several different schemes to get the feel of the wing template.
 
Betty Skeltons Pitts S1 "Little Stinker" = Done

Well everyone, I think She's ready to play in the sky. This one is in the SOH, and Avsim libraries

I made it as authentic as open resources have allowed, and to the best of my abilities.
....You'll see where I've done a lot to the paint templates. Tweaking here and there, refining the look, the reflection, the shadows and shading throughout. I cleaned it up quite a bit. There's not much I can do through the front cowl intakes but I have tried.

I would love to see some screen shots of my work from someone who has a stellar FSX PC
