Following on from the P39 on deck I got TR's source file for his B25H and added a hook, did a ( very ) rough paint job to recreate the PJB landing on the Shangri La ( just showing off really )

Just a little pice of history, The US Navy concidered Putting the PBJ on carriers after the Dolittle raid. The only problem and one of the reasion they didn`t was the wing tip came real close to the Island on the carrier durring takeoff and another reasion was storage.

Apparently Syd Bottomley took more or less straight after landing using the catapault - I haven't put the catapault gauge in yet but I will 'cos the take off position is in front of the island

Awesome. That would have been a rush. Can you imagine the first conversations when this idea was first laid out.

Great jiob! I and a friend did ours (above) on-line with a stationary, stock Yorktown class with a 30 kt headwind using the whole flight deck - 1% B25-H. :wiggle:

PBJ catapault launch

Using the GreenGhost catapault gauge and moving the take off position on the carrier forward

Hi Boeing

wasn't intending to upload -- the repaint (mine) is really low rent but the aircraft is Tango Romeo's property so I'm not in a position to upload -- what I can tell you is the basic aircraft is TR B25H Strafer on page 46, cfs2, Simviation - you could do what I did at first and add the virtual tailhook to the cfg file ( just copy and paste from any Navy aircraft )
