planes not showing up in game

I tried to find a download of MAW. I have tried the big zip file three times but it has a corrupt BF109 file. I downloaded the 15 other files listed there,but don't have a clue what to do with them.
Any suggestions
 
If you know which of the download files is at fault, re-download it. They are rather big, so a download manager might be a better bet than downloading via Internet Explorer. I'm pretty sure there's a free one for Firefox and I use GetRight myself (payware).
 
1st-You must download the installer and the 15 files

2nd-Make a folder on your desktop and label it Maw or whatever you want

3rd-Drop the installer and the 15 files into the folder(or extract)


4th-Run the installer and there you go


5th-OPTIONAL-If it still wont work, re download the files and do the same, and if you still cant make it work, then give up.....and play with what you have...

Here is a screen shot of when it shows the corrupt file.View attachment 67150 Have no idea where to find or how to get it in the zip file. I guess I will forget about MAW ,and just go with what works..
 
I think you have to have all 15 parts extracted to the same folder that the installer is in before you run the installer.
 
That worked although it crashed while changing aircraft. I will work that out and not use what makes it crash.

By the way that "corrupt or unreadable" file only looked like it was a high res texture with a .dd_ extension. MAW uses a lot of these, and a texture swapper thingy so that the low res .dds texture is swapped out and renamed with a .dd_ extension, and the high res texture is renamed with a .dds extension.

All a bit fiddly for me, something else to go wrong, so I tend to dump all the lo res versions and rename all the high res .dd_ files .dds

After installing PTO now my stock CFS3 will not load says can't find mission file. Should I install another CFS3 or remove PTO and start over?

In PTO Rising Sun I thought there was a fix for the planes buried in the runway(too low).. any ideas..

Run multicfs3.exe inside stock CFS3 to see what it thinks is the install name. It should read "Combat Flight Simulator 3.0", unless you've renamed it at some stage. If it is all stock and there is some other problem you can remove the uisel.xml file under the Application Data pathway to the stock install's app data and try to re run cfs3?

I uninstalled MAW and PTO Rising Sun and all is well. I still have Korean and no problems,will try again later with MAW.
