• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

PLAYING WITH THE Ki-48_LILLY

I was going through things which I had just "filed for future" when I came across these newest skins. I dug out my old LILLY, dressed her up and went for a ride.

I changed out my ordnance with PSULLYKEYS repaints of DURFORT'S JAP ARMY BOMBS and used KELTI's prop from the THICKO Do-17Z ... leaving the AI Props off the flying version. Like my changes on the Ki-49_HELEN, you still get stuttering blades when starting or stopping ... but they go away at about 50% power and the prop blur stays nice all the way up to 100%.

I took a shot at a bomb run from 10,000 at about 150 mph with a stick of 8 X 50kg bombs. I used the sound pack from the Ki-43 (both used the Nakajima Ha-115).

This aircraft is certainly better looking with a new dress and a little work ... until a better built version comes along.

I'm getting permission from "mother" to upload the fixes. In the meantime ... if anyone wants to send me a PM with their e-mail address, I will gladly send out what I've done.
