• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

PMDG MD-11 Released.

If I can remember correctly, they scrounged up the engineers who designed the real MD-11 to help them design this one.
 
Michael - thanks for the info. i just think its really crude of them to do something like that. I live in africa and i fully get why these guys climb into the gear to get away....
 
I have to agree with Henk, it does sound in very poor taste indeed and quite suprising for a release product.

Sure, mess about during testing inhouse, but geez, fix it for release. Who knows how many more people might be offended by the name.

But I'm not going to let a name of the camera view affect my choice of buying or not.

So is it worth the huge price????
 
its ok - loads of issues to still sort out.... the Load Manager program doesnt work on some systems - like mine - and no one can get it to track the ILS... always off to the left :censored:
