Position available - New Theater creation trainee

I don't know how many more new theaters I am capable of launching. Rather than taking the time to write a tut on how its done I would like to find someone who is genuinely interested in learning by creating a new theater under a mentoring type arrangement. By not taking the time to write a tut I can devote my time to work on some additional PTO theaters.
My feeling is that the TerrainSDk is straight forward and the difficult portion of the theater creation is in manipulating the raw data.
Therefore the individual should have the following knowledge, skills and resources.
There is a monetary commitment of about $500 - $1000.
Monetary Resources:
Up to $500 for Global Mapper, a registered copy of winzip, and Corel PSP or prefereably Adobe photoshop for landclass map or access to someone that does. A Mission Map will also have to be created.
$500 and above if photo imagery is purchased for terrain mosaics of the theater.
May need to buy dedicated hdd for theater files.
Knowledge:
A working knowlege of the CFS3 file system, CFS3 compromises and quirks. Global Layer TerrainSDK methodolgy of new entries. Map reading of topos, contour lines, Lat/Lon coordinate systems.
Skills:
Knowledge of DOS for ability to write .bat files for TerrainSDK processes and copying of CFS3 files to new theater.

Ability to troubleshoot problems when it doesn't work.
Ability to learn by doing the use of Global Mapper. GM has a robust user forum, plus I have become resonably knowledgeable with its use for CFS3.
Hardware resources:
Reasonably fast computer with lots of harddrive space. Should dedicate separate hdd for theater files.

I had no idea of the number of elements involved...........daunting enough.......let alone the time committment I'm sure. I'm sorry to have to cry "chicken" here personally, but this a great way to apprentice some new blood into the game. The old blood"s pretty bloody good as is.........and I thank you for it. Great idea!

OK , I know nothing of whats involved but reading what you have said about the costs, and what you have noted as programs needed, I would suggest interested parties consult ********* for programs required. Also google earth images are free ! I cant speak for all , but I have no problem with using anything for not for profit purposes. :salute:
