Post your ETO Pictures

Jumpoo, if you have Fraps, you can choose your own button too. Sometimes the puntuation buttons get in the way of other game stick commands. I had a whole slew of screenies from Lock On I never knew I took!

Lewis, these textures will work with Johnno's scenery. I am using his lowres scenery sheet as my guide. I am only substituting a few trees from the winter set with color. This way it will still blend nicely with the light snow winters. The first trees on his sheet up top are year 'round. The new lower set are summer/winter. I'm tweaking some more and I'll post back. I need to contact johnno to get permission to post or work into the update. It's really easy, just swap the one sheet and you are in business. Summer doesn't change.

:icon_lol: Gone from the canvas to to plywood hey Pat, you'll be trying that new fangled metal stuff out soon no doubt?:d

Apparently when the Spit was first delivered to squadrons one remark that was heard was "Good God, it's made of tin!" :d

I occasionally bat for the other side too, I've always liked the HE111.
Anyone noticed the new balloons btw? Try popping one ;)

Nonto night mission

Frist British Night Bombing of Germany. Great mission. TY Nonato. Right on target.

Fantastic! Is this the green dot the RCAF guys mentioned on teamspeak? Pat, the newer models are nice and clean. Elliptical wings look REAL nice at these resolutions. :d

had to take a testing break stoped in here and its turned into a wip showcase :costumes:
so squiff the trails look good from that distance.the trees are a nice touch! and yea the mix/alt engine stuff has never paned out.we need someone who can hack the main program and add an altitude trigger. cool addition stumpjumper, now it will be worth going after a tub.

Beaufighter and Battle

I have just been flying the BoB Beaufighter missions. Here are three from the missions. After hitting the docks, I flew around strafing ships (but not this one, I was chasing the german aircraft that hit it) and providing cover for my boys on their bomb runs. This is where I encountered a 109 shooting up another Beau. It fell apart under my cannon fire!

I love the weathered Skin on this Battle- whose is it, I know Nigel's done a lot.

1 down

thanks for posting pics flyer.heres one going swimming.has anyone tipped both and survived chaseing through the flak field?

I'd watch out when you land chaps. The RAF took a dim view of this tactic as it resulted in damage to the airframe of their precious jets. More than one pilot was disciplined. Great development though guys!

As cool as the contrail is, you need to get down on the deck and try to pick them out from the terrain and the skyline approaching London. Check out the newsreel films to see what it was really like. The V-1 was programmed to cruise at about 2500-3000 ft. That's it. At nearly 400mph, that's where the challenge is.

Missions by 46th_Irish that work in ETO

There are missions that work in ETO at Netwings under CFS3 missions. Missions by 46th_Irish. I put them in era 4. Theses pictures are from the Bastogne mission. A tank battle with U.S. air support.

Here's a few from the ongoing flare tests....these flares can make for some very eerie scenes.......

Shortly after this pic we engaged 70+ Dorniers. I got hit by some accurate return fire from one of the gunners, lost all my fuel then had to glide back to Lympne and make a forced landing. All very immersive :)

Have never had a fuel loss like that in cfs3 before. In my panic though I forgot to try switching tanks, wonder if that ever happened for real!

Great screenie Pat, I bet fumbles like that happened all the time with the stress of action. I didn't know you could switch tanks, and they don't seem self sealing either. In my Sea Eagles mission, fuel loss is the most common reason for ditching. Those air gunners are B*****ds! A few times I've had to decide between saving the day or getting home as the fule loss didn't allow for both.
