Just uploaded the Hamp.

She should be up tomorrow. :gossip:

Thanks TR!

I took a flight out of Alexhafen, New Guinea with the new Hamp and flew north perhaps 10 miles. I found an interesting CFS 2 anomaly in that the mesh stops there and you can see a vertical line running east to west out across New Guinea. In addition, it looks like MS wanted to put an airfield at this point as there are several buildings and revetments scattered about where the mesh line runs into the ocean.

Here are some shots of the Hamp as well as the anomalies.

Interesting... I may have found a similar anomaly somewhere else... but I can't remember what field it was...

GOOD WORK TR!

Yes,

Is breaking parts? :kilroy:

...of course! Do bears deficate in the woods? :typing:

The only thing I have not done is to multi-lod her as yet. She is such simple and low-poly model, that she gives extremely good FPS as is. :kilroy:

However, if you are one of those maniacs that thinks putting a hundred planes in a furball is practical....then I might need to do the lod.

Makes you...

...wonder, if you could fall off the edge of the CFS2 world at some point or another. Are there 'Bermuda Triangles' in CFS2? A rip in the fabric of the mesh where you slip through into someplace else?

what is "lod"?.
The model is breaking wings, but I don´t break the fuselage!.
The model need a exaust pipes in back of engine and reedit the .air data because the description is the A6m2!.

the other thinks are good!

For long time, the Hamp was done only by simulating the clipped wing with a suiting alphachannel.

A true clipped wing was overdue!

Well done!

This is exactly the true! :karate:
The impulse of people always is good for the motivation!.

I say, if the tango add the 2 exaust pipes and a breaking fuselage like others Zero models.
tango can be sold it to Microsoft!,because We can run a perfect A6m3!, horsemens.

Still a WIP...

The Hamp is still very much a work-in-progress. :typing:

It was developed from Ivan's MDLC Object file, which is an 'extraction' of the stock MDL file into FSC format. These files are extremely difficult to work with as compared to normal FSC files and therefore the process takes several steps.

Very Cool TR;

JMHO, Multi-LOD would be a good idea since two of the major areas for the Hamps deployment were Rabaul and Truk. They had a ton of them there. And since there are multiple airfields there plus other scenery (towns, ships in harbor, harbor facilities, etc...) it might be a good idea for mission use.

About the Mesh LOD changes. Yes there are several in the NB, PNG area.
The one you saw West of Alexishafen, there's one between the Rabaul Complex and Gasmata and another just West of the stock Cape Gloucester. There are also "Scattered and out of place buldings in other locations too. Like PM, up in the hills North of the Harbor. There were others too but I deleted the GOB's so long ago I can't remember where they were.

Keep up the great work TR....:ernae:

Just Posted....

...the Multi-LOD Hamp with a few other little tweaks. She should be available rigtht along with the Type 22 LOD tomorrow. :typing:

'Hamps' gonna get you, Boy, you don't watch out over Rabaul!
We got your 'Hamps' right here, Hellcat Boy!:173go1:

And for....

...those folks requesting de-mirrored textures, I'll see what I can do. But I have to tell you that altering texture maps on this type of 'extracted' FSC file is terribly complicated. :isadizzy: :spider:
