If you're free flight isn't loading (spinning circle on the bottom right of screen), I stumbled on a fix from an older AvSim post. Try reducing the TLOD to a lower level than you have set as your default. For me, I have my TLOD set at 275. Since I was having problems with airports not loading on Kauai, I tried reducing the TLOD down to 100. The flight then loaded up nearly immediately, and I was able to reset the TLOD back to 275 and go on my way. So far so good for me. We'll see as time goes on, but at least it's another trick to try.
