Does it look better than default?

Yes, I think so, it looks just like the video on their website.
Of course there are plenty of freeware modified effects and those
included in some aircraft downloads.
It's as always a matter of personal preference.
Also I made a silly mistake after purchasing it, sent an e mail to
their support and had a reply within the hour even though it's Sunday.
