I'm trying to help a friend who has a very high end machine setup his P3Dv4.5.

We are talking about a Lenovo P700, 2xXeon processors 2680 v3, 12 cores each
128 GB DDR4 memory
Nvidia Quadro M 5000 8 Gb DDR5
Win10 64

He's running into some stutter and Ok FPS but not what he was hoping for.

If someone is running similar hardware and could give me a few settings to try, for example AM..?
My thanks for any help...

This Xeon CPU runs at 2,7GHz only, which is pretty low for P3D or FSX. The amount of cores will mostly help for loading the terrain in flight, but the amount of GHz of a single core is the most important for the FPS.

Also, you didn't mention harddrive type, size or quantity. Sims should have their own dedicated SSHD, with scenery on a separate, large spinner.
