Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

The F28 above the Papendrecht Fokker factory. At the Veerdam location (which is a construction site at the photoscenery), many parts like bulkheads of the F100 have been build (so maybe the F28 too) and in the Slobbengors location (the straight line of factory buildings), F28 series cockpits have been assembled.

Hi,

Is there any interrest here in me uploading the "Project Fokker F28" for FSX ?

Since I was part of the orginal development team, I still like this freeware FS9 aircraft very much.
Very nice to fly, a lot of emulated systems and a very good visual model.
Allthough it lacked a VC, quite some systems were emulated "3D" in "2D" windows.

So what I did:
- Replaced all incompatible gauges with FSX-compatible ones.
- Adapted the main 2D panel for widescreen monitors.
- Tweaked some system gauges to FSX (like my fully automated Autoland system, which even works at 25 Knots crosswind).

Still no VC though, to avoid disappointment.

Rob

Hi Rob, this would be GREAT. Always one of my favorite commercial airplanes. I like 2D panels for airline operations. :)

Thanks for this.

Sorry for bringing up this very old thread but I am wondering what happens to Project Fokker website, please?

Thanks,

Aharon

This old post is bringing back memories.

I have the PF100/50 and Dreamwings F50 for FS9.

Now that I am enjoying JustFlight's Fokker F27, I would love to do a multiplayer flight with all fokker aircraft, lol.
