Prop spin after shutdown

Some models seem to have props that spin on for ages after engine shutdown. Can anybody please tell me if there is a parameter (presumably in the air file) which can be adjusted to reduce this time?

The record you're thinking of is

Airfile record 509 Friction Torque vs Engine RPM

The low end of this graph influences how quickly the prop stops.
You could adjust this using Aircraft Airfile Manager v2.2.

But, remember many records in the airfile are inter-related, so changing one may influence other performance parameters. It's seldom enough just to view a single parameter in isolation.

For instance:

Prop MOI may influence things ( part of record 510).

Adjusting other parts of record 509 affect max speed & fuel burn rates (depending on the prop tables being used [records 511 & 512] ).

Lowering values on the line in record 509 increases max speed achievable, but also increases fuel burn, so reducing the range achievable. :sheep:

Thanks for reply Uncle - not so sure if I want to meddle too much now. However, if anybody is interested I have found an easy cure for the "Engine won't start" error. In the air file go to: 505 /Propellor Start Delay = 0.035000 and change that value to either 0.095000 or 0.08500. Seems to do the trick, but now wondering what else might be effected......
