• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

Have you had a flight on one of my "Flights"??? or are you one who just gets on his saddle and rides to the next town???..Do you fly international?? and know where you going?? really, like..what´s the history of the country am going in, when aviation started there?, is it full of mountains or flat as a pool table? are people friendly or not to friendly, are there many there who are poor and sad? or do they have a fair life?.....Flightsim is about flying but it can be much more fun and interesting if you learn about where you are going, and it is much more fun if you fly with a "little story" which tells you why you are going from point a to point b.....so next time you see one of my Flights check it out, read the little story and fly....I bet you will have a smile in your face or sweat in your hands or.....or....do you fly to a place with no nothing except an empty city or town, lonely mountains and lifeless rivers and brooks, no people at all, empty vehicles, no smoke on chimneys and not even the sound of birds or bees??? greeted by empty planes sitting on the tarmac as you land in a lifeless airport....I wonder....

I usually pick my flights from Wikipedia. You know, check cities, their airports, what airline flies there...

Then I check if there's an appropriate aircraft or repaint for FS, go to the airline's website, get departure times, etc...

Once finally in the cockpit and climbing out, I grab my laptop, switch it on and read up about my destination or do something else.

If more people did that, we would not read some very idiotic samples written en some forums about civilization and specially about the graces of "advanced first wold nations" so to speak!!!:wavey:
