OK, So I go out to party with the locals and come back and find that my fellow pony pilot has moved on without me. Time for me to get back in the saddle.

Moving on from Munda AGGM - AGGE

Now if I can just remember how to get this thing started.

Quite a ride into Buka. Second takeoff was no problem, quickly climbed up to cruise altitude (18000) to get some speed. Then the heavy breathing started, realized in-time that I had not put on my oxygen mask. Got it on and the wheezing abated - thankfully no blackout. Gotta love accusim. Switched tanks (and triggered the refueling bug - but did not realize it at the time) and picked my way through the stormclouds, lightning, and thunder - almost passed Buka before I saw it off to my left. Turned and got down safe on a wet slippery runway. Killed the engine on the landing roll using the mixture control so I did not have to break too hard to get stopped. Whew!!
