PT 17 Stearman development shot.

Hell, if it's that far along, throw an alarm clock and a can of paint on the pilots seat and push it outside the hanger. I'll take it!! :icon_lol:

I swear you guys are reading my mind......outstanding work Vertigo. I saw 3 of these last week and was wondering if anyone was going to do a good one for FSX and here she is.......:salute:

i see they had a paint idea on there site....here a local plane to me..owned by wild bills tattoo ( accually his wife)

this plane has a meaning to me for several reasons..Eagle Field in Dos Palos California,,my mother was born in Dos Palos, and thier home was very close to Eagle Field, meant nothing to mom.but my uncles were almost 20 years older and had many storys to tell about seeing old planes ect,and the wieght restriction on this plane of 400 pounds gets me...as i sit in the pic to the left im 428.....ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Aha, a proper plane! How will this compare to the GAS one?

Well the GAS Stearman is lovely, and I still enjoy flying it. I expect this one will reflect the advances in modelling and texturing over the last 2 years and be even better. Definite sale for me.

It looks real fine...the PT-17 with the Continental engine.

I wonder if anyone will ever do the PT-13 with the Lycoming?

I also have the GAS PT-17 and use it daily - it is a well executed model and not expensive

Personally, Im unsure what the current PT has to offer as I don't have it installed, the only thing we can do is product the aircraft to what we normally do.

without trying to sound ignorant or submissive, we'll just get the aircraft into game and if the customer likes what they see that's fine, but to judge our PT with another isn't something I'm not eager to do, I guess they will both have their ups and downs when comparing.

Thanks for reading and your support.

Deano - I am a huge Stearman fan and can never / will never have enough in my FSX collection...

I like what I see from your group and rest assured - I will purchase it when it is completed:salute:
