Hey all,

I let the other staff and mods know this before I made a general announcement so that no one would be caught off-guard.

I've been asked to teach a WWII class at a local college. I have accepted this, and have begun preparing college-level lesson plans.

This is why I've not been on Skype much. I am trying to get this ready as well as chase Sara and James around the house, trying to stop them from flushing god-knows-what down the toilet. :toilet:

Believe it or not, I am going to integrate CFS2 into my lesson plans, showing how some of these attacks and campaigns can be and have been simulated. I may foster a whole new group of simmers, you never know!

At any rate, I've asked other staff members to take on a bit more of the mod load, but that does not mean by any stretch that I'll be disappearing anytime soon. I often have my laptop with me, so I'll still be in several times a day.

As far as DoA goes, I'll continue to work on it, time permitting. The twenty-nine Australian missions (not including Talon's USN missions) have been completed, though honest feedback from KDriver and others have prompted revisions and other changes. That still leaves only about fourteen missions to go, so we'll have to see how quickly I can churn those out.

And, I'll try to be on Skype at least once this weekend, I'm sure you guys have missed me. :d

Good news and good luck!

I fear you will receive snarling remarks about the lame 20'th century graphics from a spoilt XBox/PS3 audience...:173go1:

I'm sure your enthusiasm for the subject matter will make the course very enjoyable for your students Rami.:salute:

Hmmm . . .

I am teaching a course on the Holocaust this semester, I am awfully glad that I don't have a Sim for that one . . . .

Lots of the students will be familiar with some of the battles from playing Medal of Honor and such on their XBoxes. Never played those XBox games myself but the graphics are pretty spectacular compared to 10-year old stuff . . .

:gameon:

Am I the only one who is not a professor here? Now, I feel even more like a moron! Any room left in your course, Rami?:salute::ernae:

Good Luck on your new assingment Rami. The more our Younger Genaration knows about the sacrifyces our previous generation had to make to keep us and the World free from World domination from Tyran regimes the more they may appreciate our hard earn Freedoms.:salute:

Rami you will be surprised to just how well your students respond to CFS2............mine actually enjoy it.......some are even getting together and having LAN parties with the program.......i just got my first invitation to join one this Friday night. Not sure it i should accept.......don't want to cross the lines between Professor-student relationship.

The students are in for a good learning experience! As they say in show biz.. break a leg!:guinness: (Hals und beinbruch)

You've only been invited so they can attempt to shoot you down Cowboy!:monkies:
