Big system crash and I decided to upgrade from XP to W-7 X64
I can not seem to find the FSX config file location since W-7 is so different

Would someone be so kind as to provide me with the path to FSX.cfg

Thank you

Rick

It should be in your My Computer/ C drive/Programes Files (x86) Microsoft Games. If not look do a file search. If you brought a Update copy of W7 you already had a full copy. How come ya didn't do a full format and install a full copy of W7...Mike

In Win 7 you can type the name of whatever file you're looking for in the text entry box on the Start Menu and it'll find it pretty quickly (it may have to generate an index the first time you do a search). I've actually started using it to run programs as it's quicker than going through menus to get to stuff.

Thanks for all of the reply's:salute:

Found the .cfg file and now have a short cut on my desktop!
