Isn't that when the Mayan calendar says the world ends? I personally think that the Mayans just ran out of stone and couldn't add any more days to their calendar. :d

Actually 2012 has nothing to do with the end of the world according to the Mayans. Its a modern myth that has been cooked up that even true mayan scholars say isnt true.
2012 is just the end of the current cycle of the long count calender. There are even mayan inscriptions about dates to be celebrated long after 2012.
