PZL.37 A and B schemes needed

Was flying K. Malinowski's PZL.37A around for a while....very nice model, flies great...but the paint job that comes with the plane simply doesn't do it justice. So, into Photoshop the 37A rolls (will be followed by the 38B later). To the net I went, looking for paint schemes to slap on the birds...and all I found were brownish paints with Polish markings and greenish paints with Romanian markings.

Anyone have any color images of the PZl.37A or PZL.37B on hand in either digital form or that can be digitized and e-mailed to me?

If not.....I'm gonna open a box of crayons on these planes and have myself a finger painting jamboree...make up my own dang paint schemes.

I had most of those schemes already. Not much out there. So I suppose I will just have to let my imagination out to play on this one...especially with the list of nations that had ordered the 37 but did not receive them.

The .37A paint template is done....the .37B paint template is nearly done...really most of it is the same as on the A...just need to do the different vertical tail areas. The engine cylinders have been touched up for better engine looks, the crew members have been touched up and no longer look like Star Wars Snow Troopers...they now have gray blue uniforms and darker gray helmets. I took the A model MDL into MDLmat and took some of the shine off the plane, while adding more shine to the canopy glass and changed the color and transparency of the glass...no more milky, hazy white glass. Will do the same for the B model.

This is such a neat plane I can't believe no one has skinned it before.

There were a lot of schemes...

...all of them GREEN WITH BLUE UNDERSIDE. I did two Romanian planes but I never upload them. One with the crosses, other co-beligerant, with the roundels. The P.37 was, for its time, an excelent performer. He could carry almost his empty weight in loads. It served as basis to another fantastic project, the P.49 Mis, powered by Bristol Hercules engines, that never flew.
 
Based on a profile I found on Wings Palette, here's a new skin for the PZL.37B....the MDL has been tweaked with some shine overall with lots of shine on the glass...which has been de-hazed. I have no idea if this scheme is historically correct, the images I downloaded have some information on them...but they are in Polish or Russian or something...all I can make out is 1944..

For those who are using Rhumbaflappy's LOD5 and 7 mesh...you really need to check out the Grand Canyon...it looks pretty darn good....I need to set up a scenery/airport in the location so I can do some free flight stuff there without having to type in the coordinates.

Obio, I kinda hoped you would try the finish on the A model as seen in the second link in my post (above). I very much like your B model repaint!

The A model template is done...and it will get painted...I like the Big Dipper looking thing on the fuselage. The downside to these planes is that a lot of it is mirrored....kind of rules out really neat camo what if skins. I hope the Big Dipper thing on the right side of the plane is tail toward the nose like on the left...because that is how it is going to be on the painted A model.

Have a second B model skin done...Romania, Green over Blue...not sure if the colors are the correct colors or not..but they look nice together.

Does anyone happen to know the significance of the Polish wing insignia being in different places...the left one is way out toward the tip, the right one is much further inboard.

Here's a screen shot of the Big Dipper scheme...the A model that you linked to the pic of. Not exact..but close enough. This was taken in FS9...need to save the files in DXT3 for CFS2. I left the text off that is behind the Big Dipper looking thing...otherwise it would all be backward on the right side of the plane.

You know that only 10 of the A model had the single tail, the rest were of double tail configuration.
