Question about ETO P47dMTO and ETO_38j25_95fs

I have attempted to install these aircraft in MAW. I had no problem doing so except they clearly have missing cockpit textures. I checked, and there appear to be no shared files in ETO to transfer to MAW to correct this issue.
Does anyone know how to achieve complete cockpits for these two aircraft?

The P-47D calls for p_47_vc_map.dds found in the folder of the stock P-47D and the P-38 calls for p_38l_c.dds found in the folder of the stock P-38L. Copy those over to MAW, either in the respective aircraft folders or into the shared folder, and you're set.

Thank you. But it worked for the P-38 only. Could it be another stock .dds file that the P-47 requires?

The only files required by the cockpit are:

p_47_vc_map.dds (what I pointed out)
a_gauges_1.dds (gauges)
a_gauges_2.dds (more gauges)
a_gauges_3.dds (yet more gauges)
reticle_us.dds (gunsight reticle)
gunsight_s.dds (don't ask what the hell this is)
rabbit47_t.dds (exterior texture)
rabbit47_r.dds (exterior reflective texture)

The gunsight_s.dds doesn't even exist inside the ETO folder, yet the ETO version works wlawlessly without it, so I doubt it's the problem.

Wait a second... the stock P-47 doesn't have a file named like the one I pointed out. It has p47_vc_map.dds though which means that whoever built the model either used a flawed file name or supplied a different file. You'll find one in the ETO_Hellcat folder or in the shared/ETO_GC and tk_shared folder. Speaking of which we seem to have a duplicate right there.

Thank you. I pulled the P_47_vc_map.dds (not the p47_vc_map.dds from the stock aircraft) from the recommended ETO shared file and the cockpit is complete.

How did you figure this out and know what was missing? Absolute puzzle to me.
