Question about the AeroSim Japanese fighters for CFS3 ?

Seems that the aerosim site is down, and their Japanese aircraft sets for CFS3 are no longer available . i know it was a Japanese company , but does anybody know how to contact anyone that was in charge ? It would be a shame that they would be lost to time. All the aircraft have great potential, if somehow someone could see if they would be released as freeware. Just a thought. Thanks, Scott
 
There may still be some Japanese members on the CFS2 forum. Maybe someone there knows.
 
Tried e-mailing them, but the e-mail address is no good. Will put my thinking cap on and think of a way to get hold of them. Maybe someone else could try it. It may be a internet provider problem or something causing it. Here's the e-mail contact address: support_e@aerosim.co.jp
 
I got it! I’m runnin’ the CFS2 version, though it’s got a CFS3 install too. Shame is, you can’t buy nothin’ from Aerosim online no more. They’ll tell ya it’s up for grabs and what it costs, but soon as ya click that Regnow link, the website don’t load—dead as a doornail.

Back in the day, you could shoot ‘em an email and pretty much bet the farm you’d get a reply. Now? Don’t matter what email ya use; it just bounces back like a rubber ball. Ain’t nobody on the other end anymore.

It’s a cryin’ shame, too, ’cause these planes? Oh, they’re somethin’ special.
 
Well, Happy Thanksgiving to ya, friend! I’m more’n ready for turkey, stuffing, and a big ol’ slice of pumpkin pie myself. Cousin Jenny done invited me to take her to the barn dance, and let me tell ya, she’s a real pretty gal, even if she did lose her front tooth in that bar scrap a few moons back. Tough as nails, that one.

Anyways, you holler if ya got more questions ’bout Aerosim. I’d love to help, but I reckon I can’t upload nothin’ here, and sure can’t get ahold of them folks neither. Makes it tough, but hey, we’ll figure it out somehow. Enjoy your feast, and don’t forget to save some room for pie!
 
Well, it was worth a shot. i sure enjoy them. Love the AS Ki-61's . They add variety to a small selection we have of Japanese aircraft.
 
Whew, I’m stuffed tighter than a turkey after that Thanksgiving dinner! Man, them Aerosim Ki-61s sure are somethin’ else. Inside and out, they’re a sight to see—high-detail cockpits, gorgeous textures— those are some fine-lookin’ machines, my friend!

That looks so much better Andy! I was looking at that particular aircraft yesterday.

Back in 2020 I went through them all and upscaled the textures to 2048. It would be nice to have permission to release them

I would think that it's ok to upload the modded textures only as the user still needs the Aerosim pack to make any use of them.
 
I've made quite a few edits, and added supporting files like bump mapping to take advantage of AnKor's Shaders. I'd prefer that they be released as a complete set rather than just the upscaled textures, but without permission that's not going to happen...
 
Is that a newer addition? I don't remember it from when I used to make fairly regular trips when I lived in the area.
