Question about the Catalinas

How do you get the waist guns to point outwards so you can use the sight ring?
How do you operate the tailgun? I can hear it fire, but can only see a closed door in front of me. TIA

You have to open your "cockpit" from the pilot's position before you move to the guns. I think it's shift+c, but not sure, as I don't use standard keyboard controls.
