Hey guys, (and gals),
Question. Do you think an aircraft package should come with high resolution textures, and then offer a downloadable installation of low resolution textures for older computers?
Or should one offer the low resolution package with the plane and have the high resolution as a optional download/installation?
I cannot have both in the package, as it is already at 280 megs.. (both FSX and FS9).
My thoughts are to have the high resolution textures in it as standard, and if people have an issue, they just download the low rez texture sets, click install, and its done..
The reason I bring this up. Some people will purchase a plane and never again look for updates, never check the Dev site to see about updates and patches, etc... (Makes me wish I had a button people could click and it phones home for updates and patches).
Any thoughts and feedback on this?
