Question of the Day (12-13-09)

reminds me of how they discovered that the the reason homer simpson was so stupid was because of a crayon he shoved up his nose as a child. when they removed it he became smarter than lisa. she got jealous, so he shoved the crayon back up his nose and became stupid again.

I've always been told that I'm too smart for my own good and I'd hate to ruin my good looks, so no.

Exactly why I don't watch that stupid program ... :kilroy:

We all want to think we are smarter than someone. Homor Simpson provides that someone to many.

Although, I rarely watch TV and haven't seen the Simpsons in years, I use to watch it with my children before they all moved away. I enjoyed it and laughed at Homer and the other characters. Through the use of charactertures you find illustrated all the personalities whom you find in real life.

The program is a wonderful commentary on American life. I see it much the same as I see Dunesberry, but appealing to a different audience.

if I raised my IQ by 50 points I would have to
-give up my part-time job writing for the reality TV series,
-be expected to be able to read all the WARNING! labels on all the products I buy
-lose all the help from the pro-bono lawyers looking for a cause...

all that and I just get a scar??

the simpsons is the only show i really like.
seein as how it's the longest running tv show ever, i suspect they may be on to something

ymmv
