It's the only jet i fly and video upon video i watch and learn some thing every day .When i push the throttles to lets say 2.0 EPR right below are the N1 settings, at the top end you'll see red checkered boxes Some times i notice that if I'm pinning the EPR setting the N1's are a little in the checkered section --is that a danger zone for N1 ? How fast are you moving the throttles? Jamming them at the high end can lead to RPM overspeed even when the engine is properly trimmed by maintenance. Ease into the last 10% N1/N2 range. Of course these characteristics apply to real engines; I do not have this FS or model so I cannot speak about it with any authority.

No,I try to go easy . Right now I'm at 27,000 heading for 33,000 to Saskatoon, from Prince Rupert . The engineer set the EP'ers at 2.2 and I'm at 2.0 but the NI's are just hugging the checked box- just wondering how that works in real world

I found my answer ,it's in the document section under N1 there's a chart for Climb Ni setting and one for cruise N1 settings - They sure did a good job on this thing.
