Question reI-16s for Eastern Front (MAW)

Did I mess up or are there texture files missing for these aircraft? That is, in the VC view only, around the cockipit edge, there are what appear to be silver strips of paint, rather than the aircraft's cammo colors.

I have installed all the extras, including the shared files, but no go.

Not a big issue, but is there is a simple fix, it would be good to know.

Thanks.

looks like the vc never got the dds name changed to what the standalone plane uses as a skin name.
you can change it with M3Ded though.

Sorry, don't quite understand. I looked at the M3D files and then via a hex editor and all seem to match.

I agree with Dancat - there's a dds file gone astray there. You must have the _r.dds or_s.dds, but not the _t.dds.

Went back and re-downloaded the MAW EF files whence the I-16s came, reinstalled, etc. figuring that maybe I missed something in the process. Again, everything looks fine and there are .dds files up the wazoo. But no change.

Not a big deal. Very nice aircraft even as is.

Thanks for all your help.

Doesn't mean there isn't a file missing. Just means that nobody else has realised, perhaps because the necessary file is already somewhere in their install. As I haven't downloaded this version, I can't say more, I'm afraid...
