Question; Wireless Modem Reception

Hey all,


I have an 'intermittent' reception problem with my newish wireless Motorola modem. The problem is, that in Windows XP mode, every now and then, it gets hectic trying to be online. Its constantly cutting out with no reception being recognized, then suddenly its back to normal.

But then, if I am in Apple mode, never an issue.

And, it seems to occur only in the mornings and evenings, like when people are getting ready for work or getting home from work.

So my guess is that it may be interference with other peoples wireless modems in the neighborhood.


Is there a way to check this? And why would it only be occurring in WinXP and not in Mac OSX?
