So I'm back in the VC. I have not been really happy with the look of the panel, so I decided to try a wood grain version. I think I like it! :)

Love the wood panel Robert. I redid a panel for a Chief I was restoring about a year ago now and it started out I was just going to cover the original panel with leather, but I had some extra pieces of 3/16" spruce, so I laid out a template for the gauges, cut it out, knocked out the gauge areas and screw holes, then sanded with several different grades of sandpaper, gave it a first coat of Clear Coat, sanded, Clear Coat, sanded and a final Clear Coat. . . .oh baby did that panel look awesome. Six months later, the guy decided he didn't want the airplane anymore and sold it. When the new owner showed up to load everything on his flatbed. . .he took all the wood pieces I had done (floor panels (2)), main gauge panel and door inserts and dropped em all in the dumpster. . ."nah, he said. . .I don't like wood".

I like wood Robert, nice choice, lol.

I won't elaborate on reality....but at this point I have managed to get the elevator linkage to look like this...

Here's the Transponder...still a few things to clean up on it, but I can tune it :d

I did adjust the brightness on this one a bit to help the definition. I might need to adjust the artwork a tad...
