i can remember being a kid, and when someone asked what i wanted to be when i grew up, i said soupy sales
i used to think he was the funniest guy who ever lived.

Somewhere during Mr. Milton Supman's a.k.a. Soupy Sales travels with the TV kid shows in the 1960's and mine I was able to see a broadcast of his show. I think it was on the West Coast. He always had the little lion puppet "Pookie" lip-sinking songs or speeches. I remember this old comedy monologue by Eddie Lawrence was a great one that pookie would lip-sink. RIP Soup Man.
