R6025 Runtime error

Morning gentlemen, or afternoon,

Was just enjoying a wonderfull short hop from Green Bay to Mitchell in Milwaukee. When just as I was turning final, up pops this dreaded R6025 Runtime Error message again! That's when all the fun stops.
I've googled it and other people seem to have encountered it as well. Trouble is no one, at least as far as I could find, has a REAL answer for it.
Just wondering again if anyone here might have an answer or suggestion?

Thanks,
Tom :isadizzy:

Hey Tom,

Have you recently installed a scenery 'something' in that area? Sometimes that will trigger a crash. One is 'dual' named, activated AFCAD files (located usually in diff folders, but have the same names, and thus they crash the sim).

Thats 'one' possibility.

You could back everything up (gauges, planes, scenery) and or rename/copy the FS folder, and do a reinstall of the sim. That usually gets rid of crashes that start happening alot. A bad module can do this too. Perhaps update your FSUIPC.

With so many addons these days, its hard to diagnose problems. So many possibilities.

One last thing you can do, which is a easy 'work around', is to start saving your flights in mid-flight points, calling it a constant name so you dont have a ton of various flights saved up. Calling it something like 'flight' and resave as the same name, over and over. This way, if you do crash, just go back to that point after rebooting and continue your flight. (Thats what I used to do in the ole VATSIM VA days).

Thanks for the advice Bill.
Already reinstalled the sim under a different name. Just didn't want to take the time of adding everything one thing at a time to the renamed one to find out what's causing the problem. Guess I'll have to go that route after all.
