During the cold war Russians closed the Eastern Part of Berlin, Allied created an Airlift (mission Vittles Plainfare) but they needed airports. They created Tegel , Wannsee , developped Tempelhof and Gatow. You find the last one and all the flights from eastern germany to Berlin and returns in the attached files.
