• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

FSX Scenery--RAF Mildenhall (EGUN), UK. Home to the 100th ARW, RAF Mildenhall is one of the largest USAF installations overseas. Once home to the SR-71, the base has taken on a support role with a fleet of KC-135 Stratotankers, and C-130's with transients coming and going all hours of the day. By Ryan Cobb.[/SIZE]

I have several great memories from Moldyhole. We passed through there one day and were given the news that Saddam Hussein was caught as we taxied in. Our previous trip through there was coming out of the desert and seeing green plants (and real colors!!) for the first time in five months.

That 20 MB is deceiving. It's mainly images.

Yep, that was my introduction to Mildenhall as well. We were returning from Aviano AB after being in Turkey for a month and had to layover to get a fuel transfer problem worked on our 141.:salute:

Did you make sure to move the file 'EGUN_ADEX_RMC.xml' in to your \addon scenery\scenery\ folder?

I am getting new objects/buildings etc, although I don't think its an exact replica of the real thing as it does use some default buildings. Still far better than the default though!

I think he was looking for a completed base, buildings, vehicles, aircraft, etc and not just an AFCAD update.:salute:

You sir, greatly underestimate the power of AFX files.

I see tons of replaced (default) objects in that AFX file.

If someone wants, more, he/she should do it him/herself.

Falcon & Navy hit the nail on the head and know exactly where i'm coming from.

Originally, the file size prompted me to think it was maybe something more than just a repositioning of objects and a tweak of parking slots.

The end of the day, i have very little time what with real world commitments to be able to produce anything myself......so i will have to stick with the versions that came out for 2004 that by far provide a much more accurate rendition of this crucial base(from memory John Young's egunjy6.zip and something is telling me Ian McCartney's versionand also Matt Magner, there's also one other but the authors name escapes me). Still, i shall sit here hoping that ACG will produce the goods on this base sometime in the future.

Greetings from Tobago
