RAF Pilot John Kent--my painting

jinx

charter member past
Attached is my own painting of an RAF pilot, John Kent, who was Canadian and an ace.
It is gouache with touches of water color and started with a pencil drawing.

The image is a scan from a Greek magazine named WAR AND HISTORY where it was published. I have the original painting, plus many more of my originals of other subjects in the RAF, about 12--mostly pilots

It is presented here so model makers can make better pilots for CFS2.. and perhaps for other sims as well.
I use the same image as my avatar picture.

Beautiful art work. :applause:

Yes it would make a most excellent skin for the Commonwealth pilots.

If Jinx can't drop a bigger hint to you all, well... Someone should get on it.

Congrats on the publication.

Till later,
John

Thanks John

John,

Glad you liked it and thank you.

I was wondering if you are English.

I will post more paintings.

Well not "English" per say. Since us Americans don't speak English (according to my Brit and Ausse friends) But yes. I'm in Maine, USA. about as far north in the continential 48 states as i care to get. I'm even farther north then Rami.

Maine is a wonderful state, with old marine stuff, boats, etc.
I spent some time in Portland, Oregon myself, teaching and writing poetry at a college. Rain by the bucketful, almost without breaks, 9 months per year. but a pretty state. Oregon state is noted for having produced some of the best modern American poets and some writers also. like Maine....
